Expanded trade event programme paying dividends

Morris Lubricants is reaping the dividends of dramatically expanding its trade event programme in 2016, capturing new business and sales leads both in the UK and across Europe.

To date the company has exhibited at nine major events with a further five in the pipeline for the rest of the year. Market sectors targeted by the trade event programme include automotive, commercial vehicle, industrial, agricultural, classic vehicles and Biogas.

“The events have been a roaring success with several orders and promising supply enquiries generated,” said Craig Bastable, Morris Lubricants’ marketing manager. “With this in mind, we will be carefully evaluating next year’s trade event programme to see which shows have been the most successful and where we can increase our presence.”

After attending four events last year, the company has launched a concerted drive to raise its profile in target industries to further enhance its excellent reputation for high quality products and first class customer service.

New products showcased include Multivis ECO FA 0W-30 and Multivis V 0W-20 for the automotive sector and the company’s GEO (Gas Engine Oils) brand for a fast growing sector.

Automotive product manager Adrian Hill has hosted a variety of popular seminars at trade events, including one at Automechanika where Morris Lubricants sponsored the keynote theatre.

Adrian has been joined by technical experts who have provided professional advice on the latest OEM approvals and specifications, while commercial and sales experts have been on hand to discuss customers’ requirements and value-added services, such as lubricants handling equipment and bulk delivery and storage options.

WHATOIL?, the company’s online lubricant selector, which can help people to find the correct lubricants for all major OEMs, has been promoted with great success, generating increased web activity.
