Applications
K62 is recommended for use in all industrial ball, roller and plain bearings where extremely high temperatures are coupled with heavy loads. K62 can be used at temperatures from –20 to 160oC. The grease is particularly useful in applications where melting out or dripping of grease would cause damage to production or materials, and therefore is highly recommended for overhead conveyor bearings in high temperature environments.
As with all greases used for the first time, check compatibility with the grease applied previously and if necessary purge bearings prior to application. Likewise, as a general rule, take care not to over-lubricate and apply the quantity of grease recommended by the bearing manufacturer.
Not recommended for automotive use. Do not mix with non-bentone greases.
