Ankor 147 Corrosion Protective. (ANO)

It is free from hydrocarbon and other solvents and therefore free from problems associated with the use of such solvents, for example low flash point products and vapour mists in use.When applied Ankor 147 leaves a thin oily film to impart corrosion protection for a variety of metals under short to medium term storage dependent upon conditions.

Technical Specifications

Ankor 147 is recommended as a general purpose corrosion protective where an oily film is required or in applications where solvent deposited protective coatings are either unsuitable or are unsafe. Once applied Ankor 147 will protect a wide variety of metals, including steel, aluminium and copper containing alloys.
Application is by spraying, dipping, brushing or swabbing and the film is easily removed by wiping with a dry cloth (only recommended if the material is not required to be thoroughly degreased) or by use of white spirit, kerosene and other hydrocarbon solvents.
