Corrosion Preventatives

Ankorsol can be used on its own as a corrosion preventative for water systems (typical
treatment rate of 3%) or as a supplement for antifreeze (typical treatment rate 2%). It is
particularly useful in vehicle cooling systems where a high level of freezing protection is not
required, enabling antifreeze to be used at a reduced concentration whilst maintaining a high
level of corrosion protection.

Ankor C is recommended for medium term rust proofing, for parts stored in or outdoors. It is suitable for use in machine shops as an inter operation rust preventative for wet parts, and where medium term external rust prevention is required. This product is also recommended for medium term protection of bright steel wire, bars, billets, sections and sheets.

Ankor D is recommended for all short and medium term rust proofing. It is particularly suitable for use in machine shops as an inter operation rust preventative for wet parts. This product is also highly recommended for protecting bright steel wire, bars, billets, sections and sheets during storage and transport

Ankor RR Is recommended for all general purpose de-watering applications where some

limited corrosion protection is required afterwards. It is also recommended as a general
purpose inter-operational corrosion protective and as a short to medium term corrosion
protective under indoor storage conditions. It is suitable for protection of all bright steel bars,
sheets and sections and for protection of non-ferrous alloys against oxidation.

Ankor ST is recommended as a short-term de-watering corrosion preventative for parts stored under
cover outdoors and as a short to medium term corrosion preventative for indoor use. It is also
particularly suitable for use as an inter-optional corrosion preventative for the de-watering and
protection of machined components prior to subsequent treatment. Ankor ST is recommended for the short to medium term protection of bright steel wire, bars, billets and sheet

Ankor Wax is recommended for medium and long term corrosion protection applications. This product is highly recommended for protecting bright steel wire, bars, billets, sections and sheets during long term storage and transport. It many also be used as an underbody protective
