GRAPHITED CALCIUM GREASE

Description

Locomax K57 is a premium quality anhydrous grease enhanced with laminar solid lubricant
for use in anti-friction and plain bearing applications as well as slides, valves and plungers.

Features:

• Easily pumpable ensuring easy application.
• Designed to overcome extreme compression without permanent deformation or rupture of lubricating film.

Applications:

Locomax K57 is recommended for plain and rolling element bearings where water
contamination is a major problem. This grease also provides excellent lubrication of slides,
valves, plungers, splines and is useful in combating fretting corrosion problems. Locomax K57
is suitable as a railway flange grease applied to the inside edge of rail curves. Conforms to
specification BR674 for this application.
As with all greases used for the first time, check compatibility with the grease applied
previously and if necessary purge prior to application. Likewise, as a general rule, take care
not to over-lubricate and apply the quantity of grease recommended by the manufacturer.
