BRAKE FLUID
DOT 3 and DOT 4
Description:
Morris Brake Fluid is made from high molecular weight polyalkylene glycol ethers and polyalkylene glycol ether borates, to give a high boiling point fluid of DOT 4 quality. The product is blended with special additives that prevent fluid oxidation, rust and the swelling of the piston seals used in conventional brake systems.
Morris Brake Fluid has been manufactured to exceed vehicle manufacturer’s standards and has been designed for use at high temperatures under the most severe conditions. This fluid is compatible with all other non-mineral brake fluids manufactured to the same specifications.
Applications:
Morris Brake Fluid is suitable for use in all brake and clutch systems where a non-mineral oil grade has been specified meeting the performance levels listed below.
Always check manufacturer’s handbooks for the correct fluid type as mis-application will impair brake operation and pose a threat to vehicle safety.
Performance Levels:
Morris Brake Fluid is designed to exceed the following specifications.
U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard | FMVSS 116 DOT 3 and DOT 4 |
U.S. Society of Automotive Engineers | SAE J 1703 and J 1704 |
