Shrewsbury - based Morris Lubricants have recently purchased their 100th vehicle from Greenhous DAF. Both companies have been working together for over 70 years and the recent investment cements the on-going relationship between the two.

Morris Lubricants is a family owned business that has been manufacturing lubricants in Shrewsbury since 1869. The well established company has grown from strength to strength by becoming one of Europe’s leading oil blenders and marketers, with a solid reputation for quality and service.

Kevin Comerford, sales director and operations manager at Greenhous DAF, said “Morris Lubricants recently purchased two new DAF vehicles; an 85 Series Tractor Unit and a 75 Series Rigid Truck. With the new Euro 6 legislation coming into force soon, Morris were keen to bring their purchases forward in order to buy Euro 5 vehicles before the deadline.

“We have built up an incredibly strong relationship with Morris over the past 70 years. Supplying such a renowned local business over an extended period shows just how easy they are to work with. Investing in over 100 vehicles is a testament to Greenhous as a company and we will always repay their loyalty with the best customer service and offers available.”

Andrew Goddard, managing director at Morris Lubricants, said “Greenhous have always made the whole process of buying a vehicle extremely easy, including the parts and servicing - and that is why we keep going back. The transportation of our products is obviously extremely important and we need to know that our trucks won’t let us down.

“Having worked with Greenhous for decades, we know that the vehicles we buy will be reliable, durable and that we will be looked after from start to finish.”

Andrew concluded “We hope our long-standing relationship with Greenhous continues to grow and develop in the same way our businesses are.”
